Caroline Ruffin and Clarence McGhie hosted the cooking club on October 25th. Clarence prepared turkey and chicken cutlets with four tasty seasoned crusts to try out.

Many thanks to the Historical Society of Plainfield for sponsoring this tour, Jessie Levine who guided it, and all the home ownwers who graciously openned thier porches to us.
Master chef, Joseph DeMeyer, revealed his recipe for roasted quail. He went on to explain (1) how to get best product at Twin Cities Supermarket, (2) clean the birds , (3) bone, and (4) season and baste. Walla a wonderful feast enjoyed in our first demonstration meeting. More demonstrations, shopping and restaurant trips are planned. Come to the next general meeting on June 11th to find out more.
